Kaka'ako Farmers Market

Kaka‘ako Farmers’ Market is located in the heart of Honolulu’s hippest neighborhood, and brings the abundance of the country into the heart of the city. Plenty of fresh locally-grown fruits and vegetables, as well as delicious treats and eats line the market aisle. Stroll through the market and see the abundance that our island has to offer! KFM is conveniently located at the Ward Warehouse, diagonal to Ward Movie Theatre. Plenty of free parking at the Ward Center. Saturdays, 8:00 am – 12:00 noon, rain or shine… tsunami, maybe not.

Ward Village

Pow! Wow! Mural Art

POW! – It’s the impact that art has on a person. WOW! – It’s reaction that art has on a viewer.
Together they form POW WOW, which is a Native American term that describes a gathering that celebrates culture, music and art. Centered around a week-long event in Hawaii, POW! WOW! has grown into a global network of artists and organizes gallery shows, lecture series, schools for art and music, mural projects, a large creative space named Lana Lane Studios, concerts, and live art installations across the globe. The central event takes place during Valentine’s Day week in February in the Kaka’ako district of Honolulu, and brings over a hundred international and local artist together to create murals and other forms of art.

Salt

Named after the pa‘akai (Hawaiian for “salt”) ponds that once dotted the low-lying wetlands of this area, SALT at Our Kaka‘ako is Honolulu’s epicenter for local culture, food, shopping and innovative events. Comprising of 85,000 square-feet of curated retail, restaurant and mixed-use space, SALT is a dynamic city block designed for exploration and engagement.
